We Love To Support The Community We Serve
At our very core, we believe in helping those who are less fortunate. As we have grown over the years, so too has our giving program. Whether it's the Humane Society of West Michigan, Lakeshore Habitat For Humanity or the House of Hope for victims of human trafficking, we support causes that make a difference for others.
Stock-The-Shelves Donation Event
Community Action House exists to end poverty in our community and help families prosper. They provide area families and individuals with food, clothing, shelter and the opportunity to build necessary skills to achieve a stable and prosperous life.
Where: Drop off your donations at the Above Roofing office in Jenison. 1731 DeWent Dr., Jenison, between 8am & 4pm.
When: Nov. 4th – Nov. 18th

- Canned fruit in 100% juice

Children's Camp For Our Employees
Camp Michawana is located on 188 acres in West Michigan's Barry County, equidistant from Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Lansing. They have acres of beautifully forested, rolling hills, and ¼ mile of water front on Long Lake. Camp Michawana's mission is to plant the Word of God into lives so that each camper will know Christ as their Savior and become unashamed in their faith, living purposefully for the Lord. Not only do employees of Above Roofing receive paid time off for volunteer work, their children can go to Camp Michawana for free! Pictured here is Above Roofing's Linda Viekman volunteering. As a special gift from Above, the owners of Above Roofing, Robert & Pam Freeman, are providing children's camp at Camp Michawana for the children of all employees of Above Roofing.

House of Hope
Above Roofing is proud to contribute a new roof for the House of Hope. The building is for rescued victims of human trafficking (women & children). It provides a safe haven for them to recover from the abuses they suffered. All materials and labor were donated by local businesses.
October Is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
In October of 2023, we held a scarf drive for Hope Scarves, to recognize October Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Thanks to generous donations from the community, we were able to collect over 120 scarves for the nonprofit, many of which were redistributed directly to those in need in our community. We're so happy to be able to supply such a valuable resource to those affected by breast cancer. Thank you again to everyone who contributed — we hope you know how much your donation matters to those who need it.

We Are A Proud Supporter of the Humane Society of West Michigan
We have a long-standing relationship with the Humane Society of West Michigan. In 2019, we donated a vehicle to them, so they could use it when transporting animals. We've since been a yearly contributor, and helped sponsor some local events. We consider Above Roofing to be a Different Breed of Roofer, and we're passionate about dogs and other animals here. This is an organization close to our hearts, and we're passionate about helping to support them.
Adopt Your New Best Friend Today!New Townhomes
On August 15 and 16, we volunteered with Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity. We helped with sanding, painting, caulking and more at their new townhomes in Hudsonville. The homes are built for specific families, and each family is required to volunteer time to help build their own homes. These townhomes directly help those in our community, and are a symbol of what can be done when we work together!

Bangla Ministries
An organization committed to helping the people of Bangladesh and sharing the gospel with them. Above Roofing recently gave $12K to provide bibles to all the graduates of the recent program.
Children's Hope Chest
We sponsor 7 children through this organization, helping to find long-term sustainability for children and their communities. The focus is on community development — working with local leaders and building on existing resources to implement long-term sustainable change.
